Will your e-liquid be TPD compliant? 5 questions to ask your supplier
With a little over 13 months until TPDII implementation in May 2016, we thought it would be useful to prove a brief list of questions to ask your e-liquid supplier. The most simple is Do I know whats in my liquid, and how it is made? If not then it will be impossible to submit a TPD dossier and take your product to market after May 2016.
If you do know what is in your liquid, how do you know whether your supplier will be able to lead you through the process and supply TPDII compliant liquid post May 2016? At Nerudia we feel the following questions will give a good indication of how prepared your supplier is.
1. Can you give me a complete list of all chemicals and CAS numbers for the flavors in my e-liquid?
2. How do you intend to demonstrate nicotine uptake without complex clinical studies?
3. How do you intend to test the emissions? Will you be using my device?
4. How do you intend to approach the leak free filling requirements?
5. Have you undertaken stability studies to prove that the product is stable, and delivers consistent nicotine levels?

If you are not sure you can answer these questions through your current supply chain then come and talk to us to see how we are approaching the regulations. Our aim is to give our customers complete assurance that not only are we ready for TPDII, but that we are setting the standards for e-liquid within the industry.
